1-Year-Old Teacher Position

Norwalk Christian Academy needs a dynamic infant teacher   The ideal candidate will love God and love infants and have 1 to 3 years of experience working with them.

Responsibilities and duties will be to maintain a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom for infants. Preferred skills include gifts in building relationships with children, and parents in order to come alongside them to provide care and support as their partner.  We’re looking for someone who has a keen understanding of building relationships with parents, children, and co-workers.

Your daily duties include supervision of the children, following a flexible schedule, working with others to develop daily plans/activities for the children, playing, nurturing, and interacting with each child, playing outside with the children, taking explorative walks, eating with them and daily communicating with parents in detail verbally and in writing.

Assistant Childcare Provider (Toddler/Preschool)

This individual will participate in the development, interaction, and facilitation of children in a Christian, Biblically-based and developmentally appropriate classroom. NCA will provide curriculum and support. The staff person may be asked to perform a wide variety of tasks with a wide age of children as needed or assigned.
